Deviance We are starting Unit Four on Tuesday of this week. The focus is looking and analyzing why individuals don't conform based on various sociological theories, but then also looking at methods for getting them to conform in the future. The main focus of this will be the Bard Prison Initiative, but we will look at a piece from Ancient Greece as well because the concept of Deviance is not a new idea, but has been something societies have discussed for a VERY long time.
Unit Four - Last Test for the Nine Weeks Unit Four is our last test for this nine weeks. If you want to retake Unit Three (Monday of this week) you will have until the end of Unit Four to make arrangements. If you want to retest Unit Four you will need to make IMMEDIATE arrangements because We have a short window before the end of the Grading Period with the one week being your first Spring Break.
Parent Teacher Conferences Parent Teacher Conferences are THIS THURSDAY!!! An e-mail has gone out on Monday morning with time slots for available conferences. If you are unable to meet during one of those slots, please let me know and we'll make arrangements for another time. If you do not wish to have a conference at this time, please let me know that as well by responding to the e-mail. Thank you for your time!
