Welcome!

Marriage Our first Social Change from the standards is marriage. We will look at how marriage started in our foundational years (1700s) and how that has changed since then. You will also look at key characteristics that can make up relationships and you'll do an evaluation on what is important to you and your future relationships. We will then seal your results for you and you will have them for a future date of your choosing to evaluate not just a future relationship but your growth as an individual as well and seeing what items are still important to you later and what changes you have in perspective.

Education Discovery Thursday we will start our components on education. We will start by comparing the U.S. to other countries. Our main focuses will be in content/standards and the other will be in regards to food/meals. You and your partner will have to create changes for American schools based on items you find important that other school systems do that would be helpful next week, so while the analysis structure is due at the end of class on Thursday, it will tie in with assignments next week as well. It is also important to think about things you wouldn't change, there might be something you learn you like about the school structures here in comparison to else where.
