Roles ProjectMake sure you are starting to plan out your visual component as well as your verbal for the Roles Project. Make sure you can answer the base questions of how long you've had the role, what it does for your life to have it, and then if it is an achieved or ascribed status, and what rights and obligations come with that role. This should be done for each individual role.
Social Networking We will begin thinking about Social Network (which is NOT a group in our lives, but the people we know, and who they know, for building connections). There is a website we will use for the Six Degrees to Kevin Bacon and it will show you can connect people throughout the world. Networking is an important component of careers, but also a topic for Sociology.
Unit Two Retests If you would like to do a retest in Sociology for Unit Two, you have a Reteach/Retest assignment that needs to be completed before one can be scheduled. Retests must occur before 2/16, as our Unit Three test is the next class after that date.
