Welcome!
Unit Two Wrap Up This week we will assess Unit Two - Socialization. It is important to always remember that norms, folkways, mores, are all based on the culture/groups that we have decided to join. This week on Monday we will be looking at Subcultures and Countercultures, the norms, folkways, and mores may be different than the mainstream culture or primary group due to the fact that they have changed components to lead to a new classification. We will make digital posters that can then be looked at.
Fairy Tale Project Your finished Fairy Tale Project is due on Weds. of this coming week. We will watch them as a class on Friday. DON'T forget your words on the project, your read along, and YOUR QUESTIONS FOR THE STUDENTS AT THE END. These will be shared with Costner Elementary Library and a Webb Street English Class. After we have watched all the Fairy Tale Projects in class you will have time to start your next project (due February 16th), but since this is like the PCA where it is all about you (just different content) it shouldn't take long to come up with your topics, but the visual may need some plotting.
